EC Nebraska | Big time difference between now and the 80s. I was a young kid just starting farming and loaded with debt and high interest. Today I borrow nothing to farm and have 1 real estate note from FCSA. Alot of farmers are flush with cash and can wither a tough stretch. What I see here, by the consistent doomers is a hoping , a cheering for bad times. It leads me to conclude is that there are some who have always been big bears and sat through the last 10 years and were passed up big time by some of their neighbors and left behind in the dust and they are so jealous they want bad times to bring others down. Of course this is just a hunch. | |
