In Oregon, slow moving farm equipment "has to have" a SMV sign. Reflective if moving after dark. You can have SMV plus beacons / flashers, but no amount of lights replace the SMV requirements. As far as farm things that travel at speeds above 25 mph, you can omit the SMV sign. Is it a good idea to? Depends. | |
