near dyersville iowa | +1. but in my area, my generation is being skipped. 65-70 year old farmers are renting the land. I cant compete with their pocketbooks when i have to pay interest. Timing is everything, and mine just wasnt quite right. By the time they decide they are done, I will be in my mid 50s and have moved on to a different career that I wont care to abandon and start farming again. | |
