durallymax - 11/7/2015 10:01 I wouldn't, you are encouraging them to pass. You don't want to do that, nor do you want to tell them what to do. Just stick the money into strobes and call it a day. In Wisconsin it is now legal to pass anything moving less than half the speed limit in a double yellow if safe, however the latest laws exempt AgCMVs and IOHs from this law making it illegal to pass them in a double yellow.

That is the case in Mn - If  you suggest or tell, you become more liable when/if an accident occurs.

Have strobes or flashers to "warn" gets most of the liability off your back - or at least here in Mn.

Same with driving on shoulder - Here, it's illegal, even if you are slow. Drive in the driving lane and over lap to should as needed for width vehicle/machine.
