Central Illinois | Illinois code states 25 MPH limit. The SMV must not be visible at greater speeds even if unit is on a trailer. A fine of $25 for each SMV improperly displayed on equipment or used as driveway markers ect. Supposedly any "implement of husbandry" is not to exceed the 25 MPH speed limit or it becomes a vehicle and must meet DOT regs and be registered and have license plates which also means you have to pay sales tax first. Yeah right, so much for all those fuel tenders running around with-out plates or placards. Steve | |
