USA | What I am seeing is the current deal has got farmer's attention. Contacts this fall about chemicals, from folks have never dealt with is telling me one thing. Loyalty to the full service chem/fert dealer, is going to go by the wayside, in favor of cost cutting.
IMO farmers as a whole are going to fare a lot better over the next 10 years, than those involved in the farm equipment and retail/ chem fert business. My guess full service retail/ chem fert business will shrink by at least a 1/3 over the next 10 years, as fat cutting is going to be the name of the game.
