Montana | I believe the statisitic I heard was that 2.5 million acres of Montana Cropland with Base is unseeded
Many base owners own land but have not grown a small grain crop in many years. This program , like CRP, is very unfriendly to Young farmers. So many montana Ranches just shut down with CRP and it was real political to get into the CRP program. Some who had friends in the FSA put in their whole farm. This is really a Country full of dishonesty and it makes me sad. I know I cannot fix this but Perhaps if the truth is revealed , maybe someone would try to create a fair program to help farmers. | |
