lube your zippers with wax, (rub a candle) is the way zipper
companies say to help your zippers, the other main problem
is guys pulling the coat apart to unzip it instead of using the
tab. Mom must do 50-75 jackets a year, snowmobile, carhartt,
anything in between. You can also buy a new pull and put it on,
just have to take apart the top end and slide it on, then resew it.

No special sewing machine, just a good heavy duty is needed.
