Macon, IL | 4640 and hydraulic pump are great combo-if you haven't purchased yet please rethink your plan.
I went from PTO to hydraulic and would NEVER NEVER EVER go back. So much more capacity-don't have to worry about engine RPMs dropping when you let out clutch messing with spray rates-no chatter on turns, easier hookup. No reason that I can think of to spend money on PTO pumps today unless you simply don't have the hydraulics to run it.
I am running 10 gallons per acre through a 90ft boom and it can keep up at 8mph with 4640 running ACE pump. | |
