NWC Ohio | If you go with a 1000 rpm mounted right to the pto stub on the tractor, make sure to mount the pump to framework that bolts solidly to tractor , and use some sorta chain coupling to drive it by. ( think JD header drive gear/chain coupling). If you don't the movement of your drawbar will be transmitted to the pump and you will have pump gear case failure. ( Hypro direct drive gearcase style) I don't know what tractors your running it on but I would seriously think about going with a Hydralic driven pump and leave the pump on the sprayer. If pto is a must for the sprayer I would consider mounting a pump on the sprayer and using a pto shaft to connect them.
Edit. Not sure your intended speed, or gpa, but for that size sprayer your going to need a centrifugal pump, or maybe a diphram pump like a hardy has. A roller pump won't have the gpm that i think you will desire.
