I disagree with the idea it is best if the kids work elsewhere for several years before coming home to farm. Also don't believe it is good idea to allow a child to become a partner in an established farm operation. Best to let them farm on their own with some backstop to help get started.

Everyone has an opinion. Whatever works for you. Would you care to expound on your reasons?
