Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | The high pressure hydraulic filter at the valve stack inlet is standard on mid to late production 14 series and all 16 series combines. The shop manual says to add the filter to all early machines not equipped with one.
I wish I had had one on my 78 model 1480, a hydraulic pump wore out and filled the valve stack with aluminum chips. took several valve stack teardowns and flushings to get all that working again. |
