Wow JC that looks rough! When you say you have to be dead square. I used row feelers for guidance. Think that would work well enough?
I have never used guidance of any type on corn heads so I can't answer that. The more off the row say past 2" of center it just starts to look ragged. Still shreds just not as clean.
If I go cut tomorrow I will snap few pics to show difference for you.
