We have a 7810 with the 16 sp and a 7810 with the 20 speed, from what I can tell the 16 just doesn't have the extra range, the speeds in A-D range seem the same in both. I like running the powerquad a lot more than the powershift in the 8330 we have, I can get the gear I want instantly vs thumbing through the gears one at a time.
