What's so fancy about it?
Add the sale of a call price to todays cash price. They execute the trade and keep a few pennies. You may have a second obligation on deferred old crop or new crop. It's always at a favorable price.
Been a staple of my marketing plan for years. Never been burned. Got to understand your obligations is all.
