We went through 2 8r rota discs trying to get them not to plug like that. 2 years! We pulled our hair out. Gerighoff came out, our dealer rebuilt basically our brand new head again. And still it wouldn't stop. Gerighoff ended up saying "the stalks in your area are just larger and tougher than we ever see". Ahhh sure??? 4412 case now and couldn't be happier. Saves corn, doesn't plug. Best head I've seen in my short career.
