Central Missouri | Jpartner, I think the commercial hedger grain elevator would rather see corn go lower as that would shut off farmer selling and pop the basis for them just in time to empty bin space for jan movement. I know as I merchandise my production that is what I would like to see and am seeing. Eddyville Iowa already posted positive basis for dec so they are probably paying more for large lots. If you sell to rail loaders this may not be the case but for ethanol or feed markets it probably is. | |
