They must be planning on acquiring more land from someone. The water and air there is getting bad too.
They are past the planning stage they are taking over Africa and now they are buying up our backyard. The worst part of it is we are willing sellers. Our children and grand children won't have a thing and they will be slaves to the new owners of this country.
