Southeast Colorado | You are correct and that was talked about heavily on here. We farm right on a state line and the potential for huge payment differences is going to piss a lot of folks off. I know when we were signing up for the program they locked down your ability to move administering offices so I would assume that you are now locked for the duration of the program.........5 years. However I could be wrong. Seems kind of crazy that someone 50 miles west of me in my county of Colorado (or maybe better yet, land that sits side by side) could possibly get a greater payment than some of my ground that touches the state line of Kansas just because they administer out of Kansas. Definite chance of it happening though. | |
