Southern MN | Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but after looking at the article below it sounds like the budget will be passed with the cuts still in it, but they are "committed" to remove the cuts at a later date.

"I take our leadership at their word when they committed to me and many of my colleagues that we will eliminate these harmful provisions in the not-so-distant future, which is why I will vote in support of the budget agreement today."
