That's for sure. The stuff they went through for this new stupid program is insane. We get no payment and made little profit the last 2 years.
Don't forget we also got the payments we didn't get cut by 8 or 9% due to the sequester(or whatever it was called)
No crop insurance is going to end up changing land values and putting more farms out of business.. Too many $$s have to be used for inputs now days and as someone else mentioned most could not take 2 years in a row of losses in a row... The manipulated market we are in anything can happen... From the milk prices dropping to $16 again to the beef prices being bombed by our very own govt. right under our noses things really look rosy~ Basically it looks like we're headed for larger farms and the demise of the small family farms even further... The day we stop living with a manipulated market is the day I say they can cut all govt. programs to the farmers of the USA....
