Those spring corn/beans RMA prices set in 2011/12/13
Kinda like old Earl Butz saying "plant fence row to fence row"
Producers listened whether hearing the words or not.

Out of my area a ways, land that once wouldn't have brought $300-$400, now goes (did) for 3-4k and raises 125-150 corn, MORE this year. Some yields I've heard of 75-77 day corn are just wildly high.

Guys in the heart of the corn belt do not see this. Areas I could drive for miles and see wall to wall CRP 10 years ago in 2013 it was wall to wall corn, 2014 wall to wall beans, wall to wall everything this year.

I'm in the "fridge" area or at least I used to be, how the corn varieties have changes UNDER 80 days is a big reason why my areas is NOW the corn belt. Yes Traill country is now grouped as a major corn growing area.
