Subject: This is just normal for here..

The same talking heads on here that have been trying to convince us for the last 10 months that 2015 would be a flop are now moving onto the chances for disaster in 2016. Some things never change.

We don't get to raise a crop every year.. a friend of the family said their patriarch always told them..

"Farming in Western Kansas, you lose $$$ 4 years out of 10, break even on 4, and make enough in the remaining 2 to see you through the next 10 years.."

W. Angell

That's just how it is here... in 1989 the farm AVERAGED 10.8 bushels of wheat to the acre!!  And we're not out West where the yields really swing...

Our Dryland Corn has ranged from..

  Year            Yield     Average

1992 102102
1993 8192
1994 5379
1995 3167
