Ontario's middle east | Greg, we typically just look at carry out to next July for storage purposes. An old trader I knew used to call Sept a bastard month as it could act as either an old or new crop month... depending on crop maturity. In big crop years you can see carry build right through to the next crop like it did last year nearly 50c Z-Z. That is not the case this year which kinda tells me the market already doesn't think the crop is quite as big. | |
