Another thought is farmer thinking that they need a 4 in front. They have enough cash to get them by for now and have a somewhat unexpected government payment coming to tide them over a bit more.
Add into that the areas that have low yields are trying to get as much bought locally before they end up having to spent another $1 to rail it in and the areas with abundance trying to keep it local.
Lastly, we are dusting off the old playbook and looking into sealing for ~$2.00 for cash @ ~1.5% and wait for $4+. |
