East Central Nebraska | Buddy of mine broke his last year on his R50. The other day he was over having a beer in the evening looking at my R50. He asked if I had $1800 bucks laying around as my chain is way too loose on the left side off the fan and I'm going to bust the shaft too. His broke right at that sprocket and mechanic at dealer told him that chain need to be new and tensioned properly or it will break the shaft again. This mechanic is probably in his 70's and forgot more about gleaners than most guys have ever learned. Did you break yours at the sprocket or where is it breaking at. His was a clean break at the sprocket and nothing binding down steam. | |
