Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN
Very true, it's better than a sharp poke in the eye.

Except for wheat...... because soybeans seems to be crowding the pipeline right now. And maybe that "pipeline" idea is a total joke, but it sure seems to me that wheat shipments take it in the teeth when soybeans are clippin' full bore. Sure we can always get caught up later, but, now would be a nice timeframe as well. Might at least help the domestic logjam a little.

Soybeans certainly have a bearish tinge to them, but there are huge question marks related to Brazil this year, both bullish and bearish. If, after paying for inputs with a worthless Real, things haul off and go the other direction, those poor farmers aren't even going to have money to pay the 15 cents a day they pay Pedro to drive truck for them. Things could be wildly disjointed down there.

Course they also could raise 104MMT and have a totally devalued Real to dump it all over the world market.

Sat- Kinda makes you wonder about the white and black bean deal too. Although, I would think those acres would decrease in favor of soybean acres, as they are probably a lot more input intensive down there, same as they are up here. If the white bean situation gets any worse... well it'd be ugly we'll just say that.
