Subject: RE: Shortage of Manual Labor

Houston County, GA
A conditioner would be good. Today was much better. I stayed on the ground with two guys to get up sticks on a wagon while we stayed ahead of operator who was sweeping the crop into rows. The harvester can handle trash but I'd hate to run that much through it and shorten the life of rubber, chains or hurt sheet metal. I pay $9-$12 if they are doing good. You can know how to grow an exceptional crop and have new line of equipment but you are only as good as your help.
I made $8.50/hour to bag groceries at Publix until 2012 and $6.55/hour before that in 2009 to bus tables at a wing restaurant.
