Subject: RE: Shortage of Manual Labor

oldiowa - 10/21/2015 09:03 Back when the housing bubble burst there were a lot of college graduates that had degrees in sales and marketing that moved back home because they couldn't find a job in their field.I know of several that lived off their parents when Deere was hiring assembly line workers for 18-20 $ an hour.It is just bizarre how people brag about a 4-6 year college education that doesn't increase their income, then complain when someone that does jobs they think are beneath them makes good money. There are times I have relatives in their 80s help me because the younger ones don't want to get dirty,,,but then they pay to enter a mud run obstacle course, maybe I should go back to college to understand that one.

Perfectly stated. Absolute truth.
