| The statistics show that they do. Is it definite, no. But the odds are with you. The only people that think a degree means nothing are the ones that don't have one. Someone wrote above do not load yourself up with college debt. I do agree with that. Not worth the massive amounts of debt. There are many colleges that are very affordable, meaning you most likely need to stay in state. I worked while in college.
A degree shows you have the ability to learn, and can manage your time productively independently on your own. Can a person do these things without a college degree? Of course some can, but I'd say its 50/50 that they can. I know some that can, and I know some that can't.
I will add a degree will open many more doors than not having one, is it the only path in life...no. The possibilities are far greater for you if you have a 4 year degree though.
