I read here fairly often that the 80s weren't the time to expand. But I know a few operations that more then doubled in size from 1980-1985 and doubled again from 85-90. And now are 4 times as big as they were in early 90s. Doesn't look like that worked too bad for them. They were young and took on alot of risk but it has paid off.
For those who survived the 80's?
