NW IL | In the long run land rents will adjust for the increased cost in crop insurance. Crop insurance is just the beginning of ruining farming and making a lot of high cost producers. Come to think of it Doctors are high cost producers and most of them work for insurance payouts. I personally think the attitude that many have attained in this country that they are entitled to subsidized crop insurance is disgusting. But mommy the government is not going to pay half my crop insurance bill anymore. Grow up kids. Subsidized crop insurance will probably not go away because there are too many whining babies out there. | |
