Buxton ND
Bean exports have caught up compared to what they were last summer currently 23% lower y-o-y
This DOES NOT mean much if you had to sell under $9, had quite a debate in tweeter this morning on this subject :o)
June/July the focus WAS on the rain damage,,, maybe exports should have been addressed.....
What's seems to be getting more the chatter lately is corn exports sales are running 33% behind y-o-y
BOTH of these IMO are caused by the big SA and the strong US Dollar vs.the REAL/Peso.
Taking this one step farther,,,,,, the US Dollar was very strong the half of the 1980's
For the young guys prices in the earlier/mid 1980 where a word I can't say in here. 1986 I bought corn from a local Co-op for $1.40 to feed the piggy's
Corn exports may just be lagging in small part by milo, milo mite just be going to countries other other China, this may not have been the originally plan.

Tiger as the years pass, 2012's prices are gonna get the blame for alot of things.
