I would advise that you borrow for the inputs and try to do as much of the work as possible yourself. Farming is always a risk whether you are 17 or 77. Now is the time to find out if you can handle the stress and really have the desire to farm. Speaking only for myself, my Dad didn't have much and I would not allow him to borrow money or risk his money for me once I was an adult. I wish you the best and hope you choose to go for it.
