I do not remember input prices dropping. We did not buy anything we did not really need. Back then we saved our own soy and wheat and barley seed. Some dealers lost big to credit accounts that went bust. Almost all that tried to expand back then ended up broke. Most of the older fellows who had been farming for years survived but did not expand or buy much new equipment.
For those who survived the 80's?
