The Delta | Did your operation change any in size? To me 5 years previous tax returns would trump projections. If he's dumb enough to ask for something outlandish, I'd shoot for the moon. $5 corn by next may and El Nino will yield perfect growing conditions for 280 bpa, Nat said so right?
Your best bet in operating and expanding is investment money. Banks are scared at the moment, that won't do anyone a y good. Now is the time to expand and make decisions that make money, not what the banker tells you. Several lenders decided crop mix on farms here this year, and it doesn't make for happy share rent landlords.
