Im in the same situation. Im 54 and doing great, and my son has 2 years left at the university. I would like him to come back to the farm if he so desires, but withall the bearish attitudes prevailing, Im wondering if I just tell him to get a good job after school. I dont want him to go through what I did when I first started in the 80s.

it's kinda a catch 22 tho. Or at least to me it seems. I started in 2000 part time. Not the best time for ag but it helped me get a start. Getting started in a boom seems to be where the trouble hits. Would you say?
