So on the other side of the coin end users should make multi year purchases when we are near the lower end of the trading range like we are now!!
On this subject, I learned this a first few trading days in 2015
A end user of,,,lets call it corn, DID just what Don talks about above.
I shook my head how quickly they did it, locking in their purchases, but its ALL ABOUT MARGINS.
You can see what I mean by looking at ZCH16 and pay attention to the massive spike in OI and Volume.
In the first 1,2,3,4 trading days of 2015 OI rose 24,555 contract thats ALOT of dam corn, even made a gap higher when at the time ZHC16 should have been very very quietly traded. |
