Sometimes it pays to be a geezer Sat-Was fortunate to live thru and survive-That boom bust cycle-EVERYTHING I saw and heard in that boom-Even the little stuff you notice-Like town folks being half pissed that the farmers are "making too much money"- Was just repeated in the last boom-The boom of the seventies was followed by the restructure of the eighties-Are we gonna restructure after this last boom? Hell yes we are-Weve already started the process-Input and land costs will come down to reflect the new reality-Its a little thing called the business cycle-And no this time is NOT different-ps-Didn't mean to buck ya on the suga deal below-Its the eternal battle between the bulls and the bears that make the markets so interesting isn't it? how old is old sat? |
