So are you saying that likely his feeder house was running too slow? What should be the speed of the pto shaft that hooks up to the header? My 35' sickle stops too when I try to cut at a right angle to the rows of soybeans.

Was my head running too slow? Also I was told by my JD salesman that rode along that I should speed up my belts. Well they were already running as fast as the system would adjust to. Would have speeding up the feeder house speed up my belts too.

Thanks and by the way I have a FD 75.
