If they are anything like our cows, they will eat the corn kernels right off the cob. Maybe ours are just picky?
Dad and I have always thought ground ear corn with soybean meal is the best grain ration in the world to feed cattle. Add corn silage and good clover/timothy hay, and you have some happy, healthy, content cows.
