Subject: RE: Dairy Farm Poll....Short Air Tubes

east central MN
Inflations on a 1200 milking interval like you but short ait tubes as needed. Dbl 6 130 cows 2x. I bet I replace about 10 a year. What type of equipment do you have? I'm curious why they fail so often for you. Does your dealer or field rep check pulsators regularly? I only ask cause straight out of college I was was working on a farm with a dbl 50 and the short air tubes alywas faioed. Come to find out when I watched the field rep check pulsators he had the meter set up with a 16g needle he stuck in the tubes instead of taking them off and putting the stub piece in. He didbt think he was doing any harm but the little holes he poked in them they failed with in a week
