Plastic cost is half of your number. Last year there was no commercial storage available, only places taking grain were ethanol plants 45 minutes away so unless you had a fleet of trucks that wasn't practical.
Our corn yields have varied 100 bpa over the past 5 years and that makes the flexibility of bags very attractive to us.
