NE IL | I think the best advice you need to take away is patience. I'm in the same boat as you are, it is easy to be envious to see guys the same age as you be handed the keys of an operation. Just continue to work your butt off, find a job that can support you so you can pour every cent from the farm back into the operation.
I know its hard when you can't imagine doing anything other than farming. Unfortunately there is not silver bullet out there. You for sure have the desire and heart to farm, but if I came to you with a thousand acres to rent do you have the capital to do it? You just need to continue to work hard, be a respected young man in your community, and when the opportunity comes you will be ready to grab it.
