NE Iowa | With those Mg levels the gypsum may help as long as it is reasonably priced. If you can get it spread for <$30 per ton I would try it but if it is more then that I might skip it. In my area it is $60+ per ton spread. Definitely want to get the K base sats raised over time. Your planned and past spread numbers seem fine and hard to get levels up to where you want them in one year. One suggestion, if you are no-tilling beans next year I would spread the P & K this fall so it has time to work itself in. | |
