Subject: RE: Gleaner Feeder House Chain Speed - 12row Corn Head

Iowa
Have it running like a champ now. Slow speed / pulley on feeder house worked much better. Stopped the small cob pieces some but can tell its feeding rotor even now. Rotor from 250-300 and concave at .8 to 1.0 is allowing me to go 4.0 to 5.0 mph with almost zero rotor & shoe loss and a good sample. Drago head really keeps the mog out. 175-240 bushel corn. Thanks for help everyone. Also put rotor cage plate back on as seemed to prevent a little loss.

Even on slow side I can keep the feeder house above the recommended 320 rpms. Been running it around 380-390.
