It was discussed at the Fed Reserve Ag meeting in KC this past summer about the amount of unpaid tax liability that farmers owed going forward. End the end 179 , helped over inflate machinery values and inventories, that is ending up as a major problem for those that got caught up in the game.
So as long as one uses their brain and doesn't get caught up in using 179 on financed purchases why would you want to end it? Let others fall into the trap if they want to.
The glut of low hour used equipment that it has produced has helped us do a couple major machinery upgrades for very reasonable prices and I'd like to do a couple more pieces yet.
