If you need the equipment its not bad advice.
If "needed" is defined as "a piece of equipment that will make me money for many years in the future", then yes, you can probably get away with 179ing financed equipment. (but you're gonna have high tax bills in the future). The real trouble is when "needed" is defined as "needed for a tax deduction." |
