Subject: RE: Implications.

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
NASS reports irrigated corn grain acres harvested by state. NASS reported that 2014 harvested irrigated corn grain acres total was a tad bit over 8 million, with 5 million of that from Nebraska alone. Total irrigated corn grain acres harvested in 2014 was about 10% of 2014's total corn grain acres harvested. Market needs to bid some acre-inches irrigation from mother nature. Couldn't find any national nitrogen utilization data, or any national nitrogen side-dress utilization data. Both will have some degree of influence on national corn yield, so market should bid some of that also.
