Thanks for the detailed pictures and description. Looks like complete dissasembly is quite a complicated project. I have the new belt on now and plan on greasing it in accordance with the new procedure i recently was made aware of. Hope that is good enough for now. I am the third owner of this machine. It is.possible that the mechanism was never lubricated properly, even though is was taken in for preharvest readiness every year by the previous owner.

edit:
i see in a previous post, i mentioned that is something i would check. guess i plum forgot, as i got bogged down with replacing concave, bars and grain tank bottom augers. i guess i will have to start using sticky notes to remind me of things i intend to do.
